Jessica has extensive literary analysis and composition experience. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2007 with a BA in Spanish Language and Literature, and has since gone on to graduate work in Middle East Studies, as well as obtained professional certifications in Fitness Training, Emergency Medical Services, and Paralegal studies.

 

She has a lifelong love for literature, and sci-fi/fantasy in particular. Enchanted by Tolkien’s stories of Middle Earth, she learned to read at the age of three and by sixth grade, the books of Robert Jordan, David Eddings, Terry Brooks, and Tad Williams burst the zippers on her school bags.

 

When not saving lives as an EMT, Jessica loves saving novels. She enjoys all kinds of sports and the outdoors, as well as cooking and calligraphy. Jessica now lives with her husband, four kids, and one energetic canine in the Pacific Northwest.
